Perhaps "small icons" is the wrong term - with Finder in the Column view, showing and highlighting individual music files has always showed a small icon view in the column to the right.
My issue is specifically, for most kinds of music files. Now Catalina's Finder only seems to show the icon (like an album cover) for .mp3 files, but no other kinds, like .flac or .aiff. All that shows up is the blank icon with the musical note.
All previous Mac OSs showed proper icons.
It's particularly annoying after I've put album covers on music files using "Meta" — I can see the cover art showing up in the Meta window just fine, but the icons remain blank in the Finder window.
Is this a new Catalina bug or is there a fix?
