Small score in Geekbench 3 MBA 13 (early 2015)

Hi I just bought a new MBA 13 on ebay for just 830 bucks, maybe you saw this auction. When a start use a pdf files or loading some movies on the internet i noted some suspends. So i check the geekbench and my score is a lot of less then a saw on some reviews. I get 2571 on a sigle core and 5065 on a multi. Is it possible that apple get some weaker versions of processors and just sold it thru 3 part seller for lower price or something. Can I go on warranty with this to apple?

I don't know what the numbers are supposed to be but this seems unlikely.

Check Activity Monitor to make sure nothing is running in the background taking up your CPU time.

Seems right in line with the other scores for your model. You'll tend to see some minor fluctuation based on the OS version (scores on 10.10.3 actually seem a bit lower) and also what apps you're running in the background.

No, that is not how processors work.

Double check that it is an early 2015 model, and not an earlier one.

If its a 2015 then yes applecare will take care of it if it does seem to have a defective processor

Hundreds of millions of transistors have to be working exactly right in the processor for you to be able to even turn your computer on.

Defective processors don't simply run a little slower.

Those scores for geekbench 3 seem in line with the early benchmarks posted for the 1.6ghz early 2015 mba
