I need to raise my Swan 1080mkII's about 9" up on my desk.

Anyone know of any smallish bookshelf speaker stands I could use on my desk to fix this problem?

I am also open to other ideas, unfortunately however I am not in a position to build anything so it needs to be something I can buy

It doesn't have to be a speaker stand, anything that will raise these up 8-9"
and still look good is fine by me.

Here is my current set up

Hey great choice for speakers :) These may work.

Alternately, you could go the MacRumors IKEA route and get one of those desktop shelves that you could put your monitor/speakers on.

Those would actually be great.

Unfortunately for me they want $67 for shipping

I live in Hawaii and I am used to paying more for shipping but that is CRAZY.

They could ship them USPS Parcel Post for like $10-$15 but they don't even offer USPS as an option.

I am gonna leave this up for a few days and see if I can get any other reccomendations.

Otherwise I am gonna order those ones ( I found them on Amazon for cheaper) and get them shipped to my Mom's house in OK. Then she can ship them to me USPS and save me like 40 bucks in shipping LOL.

But I am still open to other suggestions, the top plate on those is a bit bigger than the speakers themselves so it may look weird.

I put my speakers on small shelves I purchased from Lowe's (like home depot).
Here's a pic of what I mean:

Can you give me the dimensions on those?

I used to have to M10's btw, great little speakers.

Jon @ The Audio Insider is awesome and helpful.

I worry the D1080 MkII's will be too big for those shelves.

They have a pretty big connection cable between the two that sticks a bit far out the back.

These speakers are 7.25" W and 8" D(not including the cable that sticks out the back about 1.25")
