somehow dust managed to get under my screen, and now i have a white speck of dust near my home button.

im OCDing over it, since it is so apparent and visible.

would i be able to get a replacement?

althought this is inevitable, you can in fact get a replacement...i would honestly wait though until there is more that just 1 "speck"...1 tiny piece is a hard arguement for a new one.

I'm in the same boat as the OP. I love this phone (iPhone 4) but I now have these two micro-lints hanging underneath the glass around the home button. I already replaced my phone once because the front and back camera was out of focus.

I'm probably going to wait until it starts bugging me more or probably later when Steve decides on fixing the antennae issue after September, if it gets worse I'm scheduling a genius appointment ASAP. I really want to know how they got in there though.

My 3GS has a HUGE amount of dust under the screen. Wish I'd taken it in before my 1st year was up.
