I'm looking to set up speakers in my family room that support AirPlay. I won't dock my phone, so I prefer if it has a hidden dock or no dock. I want something simple and small, but that sounds good.

I don't want to hook it up to my tv, etc, as that gets complicated. Basically, I need a good looking, simple speaker (or speakers) that supports AirPlay, and not much else.

Any suggestions? Alternatively, is there a good speaker+aux+airport express setup?

Hey!

You should DEFINITELY check out the Bose Soundlink. Although it is still a portable speaker it has amazing sound and it can work over bluetooth. If you want permanent speakers, and multiple speakers you should look into the Bose Companion series. Some have just 2 speakers, some have 2 and a woofer. Definitely check it out, I'll leave some links down so you can check them out ;)

Soundlink:

Companion:

Since Bose is a kind of specialized audio brand, the speakers will probably be of good quality. One of the companion series could help you I think!

Hope this helps, good luck finding the right thing

Thanks for the suggestions. However, I'm looking for AirPlay compatible speakers.
