Was in Wal Mart in my small nc town and asked guy at counter about their iPhone plans for Thursday. He asked me if I wanted to look at one. Of course I did and it was beautiful. I'm sure I'll be called a liar and a heretic for not taking a picture but I didn't think about it.

All it did was make it harder to wait til Thursday now. But fedex shows mine in Alaska in transit so it's on the way.

The point is that I actually got to see it and check it out. Kind of cool to me but maybe not to you.
Didn't know a thread had to solve world hunger to be worthwhile.
 
Quiet frankly I'd be pissed if I went in to buy that phone and someone else has put their hands all over it....

I know petty but when I buy new stuff I want to be the one putting the first finger prints on it :)

That being said I guess it was good you got to see and touch one before others

AT&T, Walmart, Radioshack, Apple all have demo units for people to use. Some have them displayed and some you have to ask to use. These are not sold to consumers. I reiterate the question of if it felt good in your hand.
 
well for what it's worth....

I wasn't going to post this because I'm sure I'll be flamed as well...

but my ex texted me yesterday to say hello and his text message signature was "Sent from my iPhone 4. Jealous aren't ya?"

I of course responded with a big BS.

Apparently his pastor is friends with someone close to the Sam Walton family. (married to one Sam Walton's Daughters)

blah blah blah...anyway according to him he has his iPhone 4. I didn't ask for a picture or anything... didn't think it was worth it. But all that to say... I think they're in the wild now.

Mine is Alaska. Can't wait.
 
I saw a white one in Vegas last week. A guy dropped it on the casino floor and scooped it up quickly. This was before all the white hoopla and such. It looked more silvery in person, quite nice.
 
I think it was a demo but behind the counter hidden. And yes I liked the feel of it. Didn't seem as easy to drop because of the square edges.
 
I know you skeptics will probably flame, but I swear I saw one of the WHITE iPhone 4's last week being used by Elvis just prior to him boarding his starship.

Picture or it never happened. If you have no picture, then you are just lying. Why!? I hope your iphone 4 gets lost in transit.

I knew it was only a matter of time before the buttwipes showed up and asked for pictures. Show me a picture of you or you don't exist.
