smaller bezel = bigger screen?

does anybody else think the iPad 3 will have a smaller bezel and bigger screen? It will maintain the same form factor which is perfect. All other 10.1 inch tablets have huge form factors making them hard to hold in portrait. Anybody else think apple will go with the smaller bezel idea?

Apple had a whole year to consider making the bezel smaller for the iPad2
They did not.

That alone must say something.

The bezel gives you a place to keep your fingers(mostly your thumbs) a place to hold without touching the screen.

For the record, I would like a smaller bezel.

When you hold and item normally you have your hand behind the item you are holding and your thumbs on the edge just to press it into your hand lightly.

I don't need to have my whole thumb wrapped over onto the front of the device.

It could be half it's current size and still be perfectly usable in my opinion.
and look MUCH nicer.

I mean, who, in reality, actually needs to have this much of their hands wrapped round on top of the device?
It looks like some caveman way of holding it............
