Smart Battery Case displays as "Apple Accessory?"

I just got a Smart Battery Case for my 6s sealed and brand new from eBay; nothing fishy about the packaging or case itself. It’s working great however I noticed that when viewing the battery status, the case properly displays its icon but is listed as “Apple Accessory.” Everything I’ve seen usually shows the case showing up as “Case” or “Smart Battery Case.”

Is mine doing some odd behavior or have recent updates just changed the way it shows up?
