Smart Case Charger

Has anyone else noticed a serious issue with their iPhone X after using the smart case? I went to take my phone out of the smart case yesterday so I could charge them separately and noticed as I bent back the case, the screen on my phone opened up from the rest of my phone and it won’t stay closed now? Anyone else ever hear about this issue?

Can’t say I have. Used the smart battery case for my xs max the whole time I had it and never experienced this.

It sounds like you have a swollen battery. Reach out to Apple support and take it from there. Do you also have AppleCare+?
