We have a security door on our front door, and I have been simply looking for something that would actually FIT. The main issue I have is that the security door has two small holes for a knob and for a deadbolt. Traditional deadbolts and knobs would fit fine, but all of these HomeKit compatible ones are big and bulky, and would in no way fit on a security door. I was thinking about hack jobbing a Kwikset Kevo on there, but the issue with that is, the unit may not be water proof for the security door?
Any ideas guys?
And I would not want to remove the security door entirely as the family likes to use it to keep the flies out, as it is our "screen door"...and we never lock the physical door part, only the security door.
