Basically I have my Movies folder in the Dock which I wanna have a bunch of Smart folders in it containing all my different genres. But if I click on a Smart Folder it launches it in Finder view instead of "Drilling Down" and staying in stacks. Anybody know how to fix this?

I just replicated your description and same thing happens. I would assume that this is normal behaviour to do with Smart Folders
