Smart folders are pretty awesome, I just need to use them more effectively.

Say if tagged a bunch of files in different places on my computer with Spotlight comment "Project1", as well as folders and files named "Project1", etc.

I created a new smart folder that searches for "Project1" and also name it appropriately as "Project1". The smart folder will naturally find all my files and folders, but it also finds itself and places itself in the smart folder, effectively a smart folder infinite loop.

Other than renaming the smart folder as something else, how do I stop a smart folder from indexing itself?

Also, is there any way of doing exclusions... for example, "kind is NOT folder"
