Smart Mail Box

I use it to filter certain messages into a different smart folder. But still the messages flood my inbox, is there any way I could tinker with it so that all the relevant messages stay in the smart folder but not visible in my inbox?

To do what you do it would be better to use a rule rather than a smart mailbox.
Create a new folder, then create a rule to move messages that meet the criteria into that folder.
