I do like the new smart search field, but I miss the automatic insert of the ".com" if I entered the first part of a website and hit return. It was just faster.
Safari will still insert the ".com" if I scroll down and select "go to site." But this isn't quite as convenient. Would it have been possible for them to make the "go to site" option the default action upon Return rather than the google search?
