Smart vs Gumdrop w/ Powersupport

ok, so I ordered the powersupport HD protector for the new ipad. I was going to order the new apple smart case or the gumdrop drop tech military.

Which do you think makes a better case?
Do I cut the cover off the apple smart case or cut the screen protector out of the gumdrop?

Gumdrop screen protector distorts the new ipad screen resolution I heard.
I don't want a cover so the cover on the smart case has to go.

just curious what you may think, or I may be a total moron for doing either of these.

I think it's depending on what you are expecting from your case. protection? design?

very true. Wife has the gumdrop for the ipad 2 and it is a little bulky. i need to go checkout the smart case, which i think will offer enough protection
