Hello all,

On my iPhone XS Max, running iOS 12.4.1, there is an option in the Camera settings to Keep Normal Photo under HDR. On my iPhone 11 Pro Max, that option is gone. Is this an iOS 13 thing, or the phone itself? There are times I prefer the non-HDR photo but I still want to have the option to use HDR. Going into Camera settings to turn the setting on or off is a hassle.

EDIT: Checked my 11-inch iPad Pro running iOS 13.1, and there is still an option to Keep Normal Photo under the Camera, HDR setting. So it must be a feature that was removed in iPhone 11 Pro.

I have the same damn issue, and it’s annoying as hell. Why call it ‘pro’ when it can’t even save a normal and HDR photo at the same time -_-

Didn't realize that option was gone. It is there on my XR running 12.x, while not available on my 11 running 13.0.1

What makes it worst is that I’m not even sure if it is saving an HDR photo. Before it was clearly labeled if it’s HDR or not 🤷🏽‍♂️

Lmfao yea Apple took that away for some reason. That's actually funny bc on the 8 plus (and older) you can't just keep hdr always on but you can save both the HDR and non HDR, you just have to enable HDR everytime you go into the damn camera app smh
