SmartMedia Card Reader and 10.1.2

Does anyone own a SmartMedia card reader that works with 10.1.2 and iPhoto?? If so, what brand and model?

I purchased a new iMac and a Microtech Zio card reader. Turns out that the Zio only works with 10.1.1. They claim to be working on a new driver, but that could take months.

yep, 10.1.2 kills memeory cards. They don't work in 10.1.2, simple. If you want to use it, boot into 9, downgrade to 10.1.1 or hope that 10.1.3 comes out soon and fixes the problem.

ouch! i use a sandisk imagemate for compact flash... it's listed s compatible with iphoto on the apple site... but you're saying it won't work? grrrr

Cleo, the Apple iphoto compatibility page claims that the Sandisk Imagemate will work with iPhoto (and also with 10.1.2, I would suppose since iPhoto is for 10.1.2), but I've seen people say elsewhere that their Sandisk does not work.
