SmartShell Satin Case for 15 inch retina macbook pro

I have been doing a lot of research to find the best looking and thin case to protect my 15 inch retina macbook pro. I think I finally found one, the speck smartshell satin case. However, all the reviews talk about how easily the bottom piece is broken. If you have this case, what is your opinion on looks, thinness and durability? Is it worth the money even though it breaks easily?

i've just ordered one of these myself. it was reduced to £25 so thought it was worth a go. definitely feels much nicer than the incase one though.
