Hi folks,
I've been a long time user of SMC Fan Control. But when I purchased a late 2013 rMBP 13", I downloaded Macs Fan Control by accident. Interesting, it is a sensor based fan control app which is something I was looking for a long time ago. The questions I have are:
1. Anyone ever use MACS Fan Control? If so, how do you like it? Buggy at all? <yes, I know there are 3 different questions here alright? LOL>
2. What sensor do you use? - I chose CPU Core 0 because that was technically running the hottest when I installed the app.
3. What temperature range do you have that optimizes battery life? - my range is 50C to 75C. <and yes, I know there are a lot of other factors that affect battery life, but I don't want the fans to be running wild all the time>
For your reference:
