SMC fan control 2.1.2

Are any of you having problems in getting 2.1.2 running on the Mac Pro 2.66 running under 10.4.10? I've done a search on this topic but most results appear to be MB or MBP related.

It appears to be stuck on the default 499 rpm mode - I've named the new favorite, saved it, restarted a couple of times but 499 it remains @ 34c.

No problems here with a 3ghz. I keep my CPU and rear fans around 750/800

the settings don't seem to stick... the fans will rev up and then drop back down to normal...

OK.. I figured out what was wrong with mine... I had THIS installed.

There is an uninstaller on page 3
