Hi, guys. I just upgraded to Lion OS and I have an issue with default fan speed of smc fan control. Mine is 3442rpm. I can not go lower than that.
Even if I close the software and restart it. The lowest rpm is still 3442rpm.
Is there anyway to go lower than that?
If no, is it OK to leave it like that? I have two warranty form best buy but I don't know if that would be enough time for warranty. I heard that applecare lasts for three years. well of course, it depends on my computer and how I use it..but anyway, can anyone has answer for these questions?
sorry I have multiple questions here.
Thank you

Applecare lasts _one_ year from the purchase date, unless you pay the $150 or thereabouts during that first year; if you pay you get two additional years of coverage. And you can pay on the last day of the free year. Save up fifty cents a day the first year, I"d say; for me it's been worth buying Applecare.
