SMC fan control question

howdy-

i'm using SMC 2.1.2 on my Core duo macbook.
it's set to launch automatically when i boot up, but it doesn't.

anyone have any idea why or how to fix this problem?

System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items>"+" symbol at bottom left>add the smcFanControl app
