SMC Reset?

Thanks. I'm not a dude. I did find a youtube video on my phone since I could not google on my computer.
I knew there was a CMD+Option+P+R for PRAM. Saw 2 ways to do SMC Reset. Was not sure when to hit keys/release keys and power on before, while or after. Finally worked. Fixed my iMac not responding to left clicks on my mouse.
