smcFanControl issue

Hi,

I installed smcFanControl 2.1.2 on MPB 17". However, the lowest setting I can set for either fan is 2320 RPM. I cannot set it any lower than that. Is there any way to change the lowest setting possible to maybe 1500 or 2000 RPM?
