Just wondering what speed you guys are running your fans?
I am using:

900 Exhaust
800 CPU
800 hard drive

Trying to keep the owc ram cool temps around 77C when working hard.
still whisper quiet though.

CPU: 600
PCIe/HDD: 700
Rear: 1200
Power Supply: 600

I have to double the rear fan speeds to keep the Netlist RAM modules (or at least the one in the A2 slot) below 170F, above which they tend to throw ECC errors. 1200RPM is just below my audible threshold, so at these settings my Mac is still silent.

Exhaust: 700rpm
CPU: 600rpm
Power Supply: 600rpm
Hard Drive: 500rpm

Seems to keep the temps down enough during normal usage.

Perhaps by stating how much rams you got can better explain the reason for using the particular fan speed etc. More rams = more heat etc, hence higher fan rpm.

Ram

I have 8 1gig modules
I emailed owc tech and they said that 77 is within the normal range only worry if they reach 87C and over.

That's funny because I emailed OWC tech and they said this about their OWC Apple Qualified 2GB RAM modules for the 2006 Mac Pro.
