I have 2 questions regarding the Chrome browser, in light of the new Mac beta release today:
1) I've been using the developer version of Chrome for a couple weeks. The only thing that's keeping me from switching from Firefox is the absense of smooth scrolling. I've tried 2 Extensions that claim to enable smooth scrolling, but the result is still very choppy--nothing like smooth scrolling in Firefox and Safari. Is there any extension that really enables smooth scrolling comparable to the fluidity in Firefox & Safari or does the new beta have a smooth scrolling feature?
2) When installing Extensions, there is always a warning popup mentioning:
Is there any reason to be alarmed by this? Is it fairly boilerplate stuff with just unfortunately ominous wording or is this substantively different from the warning you get installing Firefox add-ons?
