iPhone Smooth Scrolling Mail/ Safari iOS 8 iPhone 5.

On an iPhone 5 with iOS 8 there is no smooth scrolling through webpages in Safari and within an email message. But not in the email message list.

It seems to be only on the iPhone 5. Anybody else have the same issues?
This is quite annoying. It is as if there is a break on the scroll. cramps the tumb.
