smp folding - windows , linux, or snow leopard?

so i know that the smp client for windows has been updated lately, and was wondering how it compares to the other clients?

i have some older machines that i'm not folding with b/c it's not worth it, they are too slow. or are they?

i've got a 2007 white macbook - 2.16 ghz C2D. is it worth folding on this? if i can get 4-5k PPD then i think it might be worth it. if not, then i will probably end up selling it later, when i get a new machine.

Stick with XP for the Windows version. It was enough of a pain to get it to run under Vista.

Otherwise, I only do GPU folding. 10,000 ppd is hard to beat.

i've got smp folding to work with vista and 7. this is with the newer client though.

and i do a lot of GPU folding, i have 6 GPUs folding right now

You will only get 1,100 PPD at best on that machine... That is with the SMP bonus!

Oh wow. That's no better than my ps3. Yeah I won't be folding with that machine.
