Hence why i mentioned the Verizon messages app. But yeah you can no longer have i message. Honestly, on my windows machines I just remote into my Mac mini and use imessage there.

Click to expand... There is a reason why the device should be separate. If the windows (or OSX or Linux) device can pull 2fa data, it can also do so while being infected.
