Sometime today, SMS and Test going out to my green people stopped working on my Macbook. I do receive from them.

It works fine on my phone. I have signed out of iMessages on the Mac and back in. Problem unresolved.

Restarted the phone, checked the settings. Still no working.

It is strange that I receive but can't send.

One of them is on Verizon and the other is ATT........one in Atlanta the other in Austin.

Again, it stopped mid-day after working fine.

Any ideas?

IMHO this is almost always the iPhone’s Text Message Forwarding (SMS relay) losing its link to the Mac. iMessage (blue) can still work while SMS (green) fails. I assume you have checked all the standard stuff: Send as SMS = On; MMS Messaging = On.

To re-link SMS relay to the Mac:
- On the iPhone: Settings -> Apps -> Messages -> Text Message Forwarding
- Toggle off your Mac, wait 10 seconds, then turn it on again.

If that fails, turn off Bluetooth on both, wait a minute, then turn it back on., Do the same for WiFi

Is this an existing thread with a 'green friend', a new thread, or both?

I just back to this thread.

Yep, I had done all the normal things.

Then, like magic, it just started working again last night without me doing anything for two days.

Maybe a carrier issue? I don't know.
