I just made a theme and tried to change the SMS background on my iPhone 4. Everything works except for when I put my phone in landscape there is a white "bar" to the right of the wallpaper. So I need to know the dimensions for the wallpaper. Any help would be appreciated greatly.

Looks like 320x480 on the one I'm running (ip4/4.2.1). At least, that's the size of ones provided with two different themes I've picked up.

Doesn't appear to be. If I try a full background (640 x whatever it is), it shows only a piece of the image and that piece appears fairly pixelated, as well as cut off by the top & bottom bars.

Just dug on Google and saw a rec for 480 x 480 to avoid the white band issue in horizontal mode. As I never turn my phone that way to text, I'd never seen it. LOL
Give 480 x 480 a try.
You're actually right. I named it wrong so it was looking at the Non-HD smaller picture so it appeared smaller. 320x480 is working!
You don't happen to know how to change the color of the box arounf the text box at the bottom (like where it says send and has the photo icon) by any chance, do you?
That I don't. The UI theme I'm currently running doesn't affect that part. Hopefully someone else can assist.

Yeah it did but for some reason my phone is reading my "SMSBackground~iphone.png" instead of the "SMSBackground@2x~iphone.png SO it looks pretty bad.
