SMS Background issues - Suave HD

Whenever I apply the Suave HD theme, for some reason the background in the conversation thread changes to my homescreen wallpaper.

I tried using the PNG from /var/stash/Applications/MobileSMS.app, but It only covers part of the conversation (pic attached). Does anyone know why? Or what I can do to get it to work?
