Hey Mac enthusiasts,

I just switched from an android to an iPhone. Is there an app that will let me back up my texts on gmail (like the sms backup+ on the android).

Note, I'd like to this remotely.

Thanks!

I doubt it. I don't think Apple provide any sort of hooks into the SMS app that would allow another app to take your SMS and upload them somewhere. iTunes (and I presume iCloud) does a full SMS backup, but you can only view the messages themselves one the device.

i don't know of a phone app, but on my Mac I use Phoneview- works great. I can save the SMS as a pdf for each user.

Phoneview

Not an app, but I use a program to backup my text messages and other things on my iPhone to my computer using PhoneView.

I second that!
