SMS Bite - Is there an App in the App Store Like it?

I want to un-jailbrake my phone as I havent updated the software since 4.1.

The only reason I kept it jailbroken this long was for SMS bite and MyWi.

Any suggestions?

There will never be anything like BiteSMS or iRealSMS in the app store. There is a better chance Apple adds the features they offer in to the stock messaging app. As for MyWi Apple added the mobile hot spot feature but you have to pay your phone company to use them and there will NEVER be a program like MyWi in the app store since they added the hot spot feature.

You can update to 4.2.1 and jailbreak with GreenPois0n or wait a few more week until the 4.3 jailbreak is out.

What features of biteSMS are you using that you would like to have on a regular app ?

Probably the ability to reply back right there in the notification window without having to open up the app.

BiteSMS is only available through jailbreaking. Apple would never allow something like this on a stock device.
