Since the beta iOS 8 came out, I have been using SMS forwarding on my Mac pretty regularly and for the most part without any major hiccups. Since iOS 8.1.2, I've noticed an issue with SMS forwarding. For the past few days, iMessages has been getting randomly turned off within Setting>Messages. Yesterday after this happened, I had an issue where it was unable to activate iMessage for a few hours. Of course whenever this happens, my "Text Message Forwarding" setting is off for all my devices. Once iMessage activates successfully, I am able to turn on Text Message Forwarding for each device manually. Now when I do this, I have to go through the security process of entering into my iPhone the displayed security code on each forwarded device. Today I had to do this twice. It seems to occur whenever iMessage spontaneously turns off. Anyone else having any similar issues? For me, this has been occurring after 4pm when I am home from work (so idk if it has something to do with the switch from the cellular network to home wifi, etc.)
