SMS inbox update?

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but for the past week or so I have been getting the, you SMS inbox is almost full. Please delete some messages. After the 1.1.3 update I am no longer getting that. Did they make the amount of messages you can hold larger, or did I delete a lot of messages without noticing?

That's great! Its ashamed I already deleted some but not the really important ones, and now I don't have to worry about that!!
