SMS list takes like... 10 seconds to appear.

After I click on the SMS icon, it loads the screen, but no texts appear for at least 10 seconds or so... Its' really annoying.

I've tried deleting older messages thinking that it was taking longer to load all the messages, but it still happens.

Is this a known issue??

happens to me daily. if it doesn't happen, then typing lag kicks in. it's always one or the other. hoping 2.1 fixes it up right good.

a quick fix for now is to go to the sms screen and hold down the home button until it exists. what that does is free up the memory. now you can type normal

I have the same exact problem. Either lag in typing or takes forever to load. I find deleting come and then after deleting restarting the iphone can temporary help

Cool tip. Tried it and it freed up my SMS lag (for now)
