SMS/MMS text message log saver for iPhone to Mac

I am looking for a program that allows me to extract and save my SMS/MMS logs from iPhone and save them to my Mac. It doesn't have to be crazy, it can be a simple text file... I just know that there is a 1000 limit on any thread of messages and then the previous ones start getting deleted.

Does anyone have any ideas or solutions for this? Is there an application that exists? I read that someone recommended a program by Micromat, but it appears it no longer exists.
