Okay, I currently have 2 phones (Galaxy S6 that's my primary phone and an iPhone 6 Plus) and two tablets (iPad Air 2 and a Samsung Tab 4). Yes, I'm that geeky. :)

I am thinking of making my iPhone my primary device but unless I'm mistaken I will have no way of texting (not iMessage) on my iPad, is that correct?

Currently, I can text on my Tab 4 via MightyText, but due to Apple's asinine app process MT isn't available.

Thanks,
David

You can with the latest software text and iMessage. Make phone calls too if you like. Not sure what version added the feature but it works.

Your phone and iPad will need to be logged into the same iCloud account if I recall.
