SMS preview not always working

Lately when receiving SMS messages, I have not been always getting a popup preview and my phone doesnt vibrate. I simply unlock my phone and my SMS badge shows a 1 with it. I am using 4.2.1 and used greenpois0n to jailbreak. I have tried restarting my phone, but I really don't want to reformat my phone until the 4.3 jailbreak is out. Anyone have any suggestions on what to possibly try or what may be causing this? A few people I know also have this issue.

I've had the same happen to me on 4.2.1 non jailbroken. Normally happens if you've just looked at an sms then lock the phone and another message comes in just after. Doesn't happen very often though. Updated to 4.3 last night so will see how things go, I'm guessing it was just a little software bug
