SMS problem

When I send SMS text messages, I always accidebtally press on the send button even though I am not ready to send the message or I still need to correct spellings etc. I do not see a cancel option once it starts sending the message. Is there a way to cancel this or can they add this option once they do software upgrades? With other cellphones I think, you can still cancel your message from being sent even if it already started transmiiting your message. Thank you!
