Had a friend get an iPhone 11 and it works well (runs the latest OS).

Except, we realised that it's not sending out text messages at all. Thankfully, incoming SMS from other phone work normally. iMessage is working fine though.

We see this error message when we tap the red "i" icon next to the unsent message--"Your message was not sent. Tap try again to send this message."

I turned off iMessage and FaceTime and then turned them back on, but it hasn't solved the issue.

I looked this issue up online and it seems other people have faced it too. Someone said they face this often, and the solution is to put the phone on Flight Mode, switch it off, and then disable Flight Mode after switching on the phone. This did work for some time (a few mins maybe), but we are back at the issue again.

Solutions, anyone?

Thanks!

Hmm…Have you tried texting multiple other people (i.e, not just trying to text the same number)? For example, I have had these types of issues in the past, but it was because the one person that I was trying to text had run out of messages (was on pre-paid phone plan). Other people that I texted (via SMS) had no issue.
