SMS Text Font Size

I need help with what is probably an old problem. I can't see the tiny font is my sms text messages. Before I go back to Blackberry, can anyone help me enlarge the size of the font?

Is there a third party app that I could use?

Pretty sure you're out of luck on this one.

Time for new glasses, perhaps? The text in the SMS app is larger than most you'll find in the other apps...

I have never heard anybody ever say anything about the SMS font size being to small, or any app font size for that matter.

Oh sorry, i forgot the blackberrys had 17 inch screens.

You can change the size of the system text in the Options menu on a BB.

I think the font size is right on. Are you sure you're not using a small font from FontSwap or something?

You can change the font size of almost all system text on the blackberry. I don't think you can change the font size of SMS messages on the iphone. This is a problem for folks who have some form of vision impairment that cannot be corrected further by "a new pair of glasses." When the functionality of a feature like SMS is borderline due to vision problems it's just another factor that has to be considered when trying to decide which phone to purchase. I wonder how receptive Apple is to suggestions for changes made due to this type of thing?

Yeah it's one of those pre set sizes.
