Anyone else have an issue with SMS text messages not working after changing carriers and porting a number? My wife is with ATT and I was with Sprint. I activated by 4s and ported my number to ATT and went with a family plan including family text.
After activating, I could not send or receive text messages from my phone (other than iMessage). I don't get any kind of error, the texts simply don't get received. Called ATT. CSR sent me to tech support. Tech support couldn't get it to work right so had to give me a ticket and have "the IT department manually fix the issue". He had no ETA.
Anyone else with that issue and how long did it take to fix.
