SMS via Mac on Jailbreaked iPhone?

Dear MacRumours community

Does any one know of a way to communicate SMS via a mac? My phone is jailbreaked with cydia available.

Bluetooth or USB - I just need new texts to pop up on my mac when they arrive, and the ability to text back without touching my phone.

That would be so stupidly awesome.... I am sure that people from DigiDna could come up with something like that... or maybe even bitesms.

It is a mystery to me as to why not this is not possible already

You can always use Veency to do this.

It it supposedly possible using Notify Pro, but I have never been able to get it working.

I would be surprised if Apple hadn't thought of this yet. It really seems very straightforward. Maybe they are figuring out the best implementation? Maybe in Lion/iOS5.
