SmsFanControl broken fan

hello there,

I just installed this for my 4,1 macbook pro. I set up the fan to 6000rpm and it looks like this only applies to the left fan....the left fan in istat goes up 6000 but the right fan stays at 1100 ? how come?

Is my right fan broken or something?

You can set the fan speeds separately. Are you sure you're setting the speed of both fans?

Have you tried an SMC reset yet?
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
Strange that the slower fan is reported as only spinning at 1100RPM, as the idle (and lowest) speed is 2000RPM.
