So I have multiple email accounts (1 exchange, 2 gmail, 1 imap), which I manage through mail.app. This is fine when sending mail from the house, everything works well through the comcast SMTP service. When I take my laptop elsewhere, I cannot send mail from most places because they have different SMTP addresses. This makes it a PITA to log on to all my webmail accounts to send items. I am going to be traveling a lot in the upcoming months, and would like to get a solution figured out to simplify this process. I have tried using Mailserve, but I have not found it to be reliable, and I don't like having to start another application to send mail.

I have been looking into universal SMTP services, so I can set up 1 server for my accounts and let it handle all the outgoing mail. Is this the right approach for me? Most of the services I've seen run about $25 year, which is completely reasonable for this freedom. Are there services that people recommend over another?
