Is there an app which allows me to take any open window of any app and hide it on the side of the screen.

Then, when my mouse moves over to the edge of the screen, the window pops back out allowing me to work on it.

Any such application?

Any reason the built in app hiding capabilities (command H) don't satisfy you?

B

My Machine is quite slow now and clicking on the icon in the dock, even though its running in the background, still has a delay before the window appears.

Furthermore, I dont want to use the keyboard. Just wanna align to the edge and then have it hide away, just like Adium does.

It would be a faster flow with the mouse and more convenient

I meant the delay. A third party app will likely have far more delay than the built in tool.

You didn't mention which version of OS X. Have you tried Spaces to achieve something similar?

not exactly what you're talking about but i use bettertouchtool to simulate windows snapping like windows 7 does.
