I have just upgraded to a Mac Pro running Leopard. Consequently my old scanner and printer drivers need uprading. The scanner is an old snapscan 1236U and the printer an Epson stylus colour 3000. Neither Agfa or Epson support these old timers any longer. Can any one tell me if I am wasting my time searching for drivers for each of these?

Try checking http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/ for some info. They should be able to help you get your printer working. I don't know about the scanner, though...
