Do, you think for the trade-in promotions and the buy I get one of Iphones, do you believe that Apple gives the defective or the lower quality units for example the yellow tint or raised blacks on the iPhone 12.

But all the carriers do and all the reports of yellow tint and raised blacks are the phones that were not bought from Apple directly, so there is something fishy going on.

First, Apple isn't responsible for carrier promotions. Second, your assertion is false, as evidenced by the numerous threads here. Complaints of tinting cannot be correlated to the point of purchase. Third, carriers would have no way to identify "defective" phones even if they wanted to push them out as part of a promotion. Remember, all iPhones look the same when they are in the box. It would also be illegal to do what you allege.

It used to be very common in Indonesia to “reseal” iPhones. But consumers are getting smarter and they understand about date of activation and greenpeel now.

100% just yesterday walked into a T-Mobile store traded in my Old iPhone 8, for $830, And walked out with a new iPhone 12 ProMax paid in full Stimulus cash $400 Mothers Day Promotion.

No yellow tinting.

Zero chance. They are manufactured and batched. No way are they individually checking every single device!

No tint problem if you turn off True Tint, set Display & brightness to desired point and then go to
Accessibility> Display&Text Size> turn off Auto Brightness

For $1,200 every single device is checked period. Color calibrated No. but checked to be within Spec tolerance.

For #1. Brightness
#2. On/Off
#3. Wide color range

takes like 2 seconds
